YWC undertook JICA projects; to improve the capacity of water and sanitation authorities in Punjab Province in 2015; and to formulate water supply, sewerage and drainage master plan and implement pilot activities in Faisalabad in 2016. These projects brought excellent results; District Metered Area (DMA) system introduced; appropriate water pressures; shift to a meter-rate system, which eradicated the vicious cycle of intermittent water supply, low water pressures, and low storage rates due to water theft prevailed before.
